is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and has a graduate degree in Near Eastern Studies from Brandeis. He has taught at the Hebrew University of Tel Aviv and is currently the director of research at the Israel Peace Initiative in San Francisco. He is a regular contributor to Front Page Magazine.
