William E. Simon Jr.
is a businessman, lawyer, and philanthropist, who presently serves as Co-Chairman of William E. Simon & Sons and the William E. Simon Foundation. Early in his career he was an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York and later was the 2002 Republican gubernatorial nominee in California. For many years, Simon has worked to implement a philosophy of helping those in need by underwriting scholarships, athletic and recreational programs, and faith-based efforts in urban areas both nationally and throughout California.
