Don Eberly

DON EBERLY has had a 30 year career in national and international policy, with 13 years spent in the Middle East, both with the State Department and a private company.  Eberly served in senior post-war reconstruction roles in Iraq and Afghanistan, winning the prestigious Joint Military-Civilian Commendation award.  He has served in the White House under two Presidents, and been a leading in civic initiatives as a founder of several non-profits including the National Fatherhood Initiative.  He has been a leading voice and scholar on the role of civil society in democracy at home and abroad, publishing 8 books and commenting regularly to the press.
